How much Super Do I Need?

One question that is always a hot topic with super is - ‘How much do I need?’

The answer to this question is different for every single person as it is unique to your needs.

To calculate the answer, you need to ask yourself the following:

· What large amounts will you need once you retire – will you have a home loan you want to pay out? Do you want to buy a caravan and/or car?

· When do you want to retire? Is it 55, 60, 65 or later? The average life expectancy is around the mid-eighties, so how many years do you need to fund?

· What type of lifestyle do you want? Are you happy with the basic level of income, enough to buy food, pay bills and the very occasional meal out? Or do you want more than this?

Would you like the financial freedom to decide for yourself?
